Hi Cielitos!

Things are picking up for Cielito Lindo this week, just as I'm sure your classes are! This is being sent out after our first practice of the week (sorry), but we look forward to seeing you all at our upcoming practices and performances! While official sign-ups for Dia de los Muertos ended, please feel free to let me know if you'd like to perform La Bruja, we have the space for up to 4 more dancers <3 Just make sure to fill out our spreadsheet! Also open for sign-up is our Freestyle performance November 11th! Use that same spreadsheet to sign up if you're interested in Jarabe Tapatio or the bachata we're working on! As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to ask us on Discord or by emailing Denisse (da109) and me (im104). Below is the next 3 events from this week.

Thursday 10/26

We'll be having "dress rehearsals" for the first hour, but we welcome people coming over to watch and/or take a peak at our performances <3

  • 9 pm, Las Mujeres Que Pintan
  • 9:30 pm, El Sombrero Azul
  • 10 pm, La Llorona

Friday 10/27

We're going to be performing at Slater today! Please come watch us dance Las Mujeres Que Pintan and El Sombrero Azul <33

Saturday 10/28

We have Dia de los Muertos coming up soon! We're going to be going through our DdlM dances more intensely <3
